Quiltster is a fabric auditioning and yardage calculating program, created by a quilting family.

Judy Niemeyer of Quiltworx had always wished for a way to easily plan colorways and layouts for her paper pieced patterns. Her youngest son, Billy, the owner of Giantsource Inc., a software development company, and her eldest son Brad, developed a unique method to turn Autocad line art into an interactive user experience. Judel, her daughter and General Manager of Quiltworx, worked with them to ensure accurate yardage calculations. The result is Quiltster, a program that allows you to see the look of your finished quilt before buying supplies or cutting fabric. Together, the Niemeyer family has changed the quilting industry forever.
